Disinfection 2010 & Sterilization Hospitals by "MVX"

MVX Fighting H5N1 Bird Flu 2010

(Required agents and distributors)
MVX is the latest Japanese Technology in sterilization and disinfection filed .
sterilization & disinfection hospitalMVX is high quality product which is developed by Nanotechnology by "MAEDA KOUGYOU Japaneses Company" and has special application in the field of sterilization as anti bacterial ,fungal, dirt and also antiviral as Avian flu and SARS . MVX Is considered the best solution to the problems of contamination of surgical rooms in hospitals

It's the revolutionary science and art of manipulating matter at the atomic or molecular scale. The objective of nanotechnology is to produce materials of special function with new physical & chemical properties by making atoms & molecules behave differently.

Nanotechnology is considered to be one of the most important sites of investment funded by the govern orates, and here are some examples for the fund of pioneers in nanotechnology.

Nanotechnology was our gate to reach a new material; it's old in reality but with this new technology we have changed lots of its properties; it's titanium dioxide TiO2

"MVX "Anti Fungal & Anti Bactria Effects

MVX has a good antifungal effect on different types of fungi e.g. Aspergillums Niger & Candida albicans reducing their concentration by 34.65% after 2 hours of contact.
MVX Deodorizing Effect :
MVX produces a noticeable difference in deodorizing character. The smell of very high concentrations of ammonia gases (40 ppm) in a 2 hour period will dissipate up to 99.6%.

MVX gives relative charges to the surface it's coated with when exposed to every source of light, also fine dust carries negative charges so, both the surface & the dust carry negative charge and they repel with each other so, surface clear without accumulation of dust.

MVX Hydrophilic effect :
MVX gives the surface it's coated with a hydrophilicM character due to the presence of (OH-) radicals, with very high affinity to water, and self cleaning effect is generated by waterfall.
THE ACTIVITY OF " MVX "
MVX produces long lasting disinfection remains for 5 years and certainly we have a very good visible proof for the validity of MVX functions as a sterilizing material for surfaces. As we have known that the mechanism of action of MVX depends on the presence of (OH-) & (O2-) radicals.
So, we have 2 tests ensuring the presence of these two radicals.
(1) Silver nitrate : is a colorless solution turns black in color due to the presence of O2- radicals .

(2) Methelene blue : is a blue colored liquid when oxidized, its color fades within 30 minutes due to the presence of (OH-) radicals.

Although Nosocomial infections have been recognized since more over than 150 years but they remain a hazard to both health workers & patients. Infection control has become a formal discipline in the United States since the 1950s due to the spread of staphylococcal infections in hospitals. Today Nosocomial infections accounts for 50% of all major complications of hospitalization. In 1974 only 2% of staphylococcus aureus infections can't be cured with commonly used antibiotics. By 2003, that figure had reached 57% and is still rising. The cause is that microbes existing in environment where antibiotics are constantly used are likely to develop a resistance to most of these antibiotics in use
Commonly used chemical Disinfection
Chlorine : has a broad antimicrobial activity but less effective against spore forming organisms. It causes ocular irritation and burns to the gastrointestinal tract and is corrosive to metal on using with high concentrations.
Alcohol : provides highest bactericidal effect when it is 70% - 80% aqueous solution. The bactericidal action of 100% ethanol becomes lower Alcohol is not affective on spores, evaporates quickly and its effect doesn't last for extended period. Also its bactericidal effect decreases at low temperture .
Hydrogen peroxide: it is often preferred because it causes far fewer allergic reactions than alternative disinfectants. However recent studies have shown hydrogen peroxide to be toxic to growing cells as well as bacteria, its use as antiseptic is no longer recommended.
Phenol: corrosive to the skin and sometimes toxic to sensitive people.
In addition to the previous problems with chemical disinfectants there are a lot of factors affecting
the process of disinfection:

1.
Concentration Of the chemical disinfectant.
2.
Time of contact between disinfectant and the organism to be killed and time to repeat the process of disinfection.
3.
Selectivity of the chemical disinfectant on vegetative bacteria, spores, viruses and fungi.
Chemical disinfection is both time & labor consuming and it might be harmful for staff & environment. All these disadvantages created the need to use ultraviolet light for disinfection but apart from it's carcinogenic, it is not effective for shadowed areas and there is still a need for disinfection by chemicals. And so disinfection with U.V. light should not be used alone but with a good addition to chemical disinfection.
Although we have a variety of chemical disinfectants and ultraviolet light, we still have lots of problems,
and here are some examples :
* According to the latest figures from the U.S centers for disease control & prevention (CDC) hospital acquired infections accounts for at least 2 million infections, 90 000 deaths & $ 4.5 billions in excess health care costs annually

nosocomial infection ratesThere is a relatively big difference between the mentioned rates & the maximum tolerable rate which is 5.7% according to (WHO) recommendations.
* Kennedy, a famous researcher in infection control has called intensive care units as "Epidemiological jungle

The organisms found on analysis were

TiO2 photo catalysis
Our new titanium dioxide " MVX " when stroked by light a chemical reaction will begin causing the breakdown of organic toxins, odors & moreover.
(A) At the level of radicals:
When light strikes "MVX" this produces two oxidation reactants, hydroxyl radicals (OH-) & super oxide anion (O2-). The two reactants decompose toxic organic substances through oxidation. The light source only begins the reaction & it keeps working for several hours even after the light source is cut

(B) At the level of molecules:
The nucleus of an atom is surrounded by orbits where electrons are revolving around the nucleus. Electrons responsible for reactions are revolving in a band called valence band.

There is a band outside the valence band referred to as the conduction band.

In TiO2, as it is a compound consisting of different atoms, the valence and conduction bands are complicated, but the principles involved are the same. When the energy of light is applied externally electrons in the valence band are excited and rise to the conduction band. Then positive holes are formed and left behind the rising electrons in the valence band. At this time the MVX is photo excited. The resulting positive holes show sufficient oxidative power.

As MVX is TiO2 dissolved in water, water is oxidized by positive holes forming hydroxyl radicals (OH-) which has a strong oxidative decomposing power.

Also, Oxygen of the air is reduced by the rising electrons resulting in the production of super oxide anions (O2-) which is capable of attacking bacteria. Both super oxide anion and hydroxyl radicals are the main reactants responsible for the functions of MVX.

1) Antibacterial & Detoxification Action :
MVX has excellent bactericidal effects even without ultra violet rays, furthermore, when U.V. rays are irradiated,
MVX also can decompose the remnants of dead bacteria.

MVX Antiviral effect avian flu
MVX has strong effect on killing almost all kinds of
viruses including SARS & Avian flu ( H5N1 ).
Effect against influenza viruses.

The amount of antibodies in normal blood uninfected by viruses is approximately 2 µgm/ml which was defined as HA value = 2, when blood is infected by a virus, hem agglutinin occurs, causing antibodies to increase in number. The HA value of 1280 for the untreated samples means that the virus caused heamgglutination and increased the number of antibodies by 640 times.
-
On the other hand, the samples treated with the MVX inhibited heamagglutination by destroying the virus.

1. What is titanium dioxide? What is a photo catalyst?
Titanium dioxide (TiO2) is an anti-microbial metal created by a process which crystallizes titanic iron ore

into a nano liquid form. When exposed to normal  light, TiO2 becomes a photo catalyst

oxidizer (PCO) as well which creates hydroxyl radicals and superoxide ions which are two times stronger disinfectants than chlorine and 1.5 times stronger a disinfectant than ozone. TiO2 is safe and widely used in many household products such as toothpaste, food, and teeth whitening solutions
The advent of nano technology, in other words making tiny particles out of metals that can penetrate most surfaces,
has lead to several Japanese patents utilizing this nano TiO-2 photocatalytic solution which has many wide ranging applications and has experienced years of successful use in the Japanese marketplace

For instance the government uses this solution in some public bathrooms to keep them smelling fresh and more importantly maintenance free. TiO2 coatings are applied to some highway guard rails to keep them looking new amidst constant bombardment from hydrocarbons and VOC's from vehicle exhaust

The outside of some Japanese high rises are treated with TiO2 solution to make the glass and metal maintenance free, no more need to clean the windows, they resist water and grime. TiO2 coatings are also widely used in the healthcare, food, janitorial, auto, and construction business. Many homeowners treat their mini-blinds, windows, furniture, bathrooms, showers, carpets, flooring, etc with similar TiO2 solutions to reap the benefits of VOC free, clean, fresh indoor air on top of the huge benefit of maintenance free surfaces. When microorganisms, smog, viruses, VOC, or any organic material comes in contact with the TiO2 treated surface, it also becomes oxidized. Even fabrics treated with this revolutionary substance will not retain odors. Car interiors treated with Nano TiO2, even when submitted to second hand smoke from several people for prolonged periods of time, will not retain any tobacco
odor.

2. Are TiO2 coating harmless to humans? Is it harmless to pets?
Nano TiO2 liquid is completely harmless to human bodies and is actually used widely as a food additive. View test results) Nano TiO2 liquid is made with a patented binding process that makes it possible for(
this liquid to penetrate and form a permanent bond with surfaces. It is not for human consumption in this nano liquid form of course. However, after it dries to form a film on a substance, it becomes one with the surface. Nano TiO2 liquid should not be applied directly on pets or animals. It can and should be used however to keep pet bedding from retaining odors

3. After applied, does it produce any odor?
No, it does not have any odor. If applied to surfaces with for instance tobacco odors, those odors will go
away.

4. Does this Nano TiO2 liquid have a shelf life?
Basically, there is no shelf life . This solution should be stored in a dark, cool environment long term
however.

5. How is this Nano TiO2 liquid applied?
It can be brushed or sprayed onto surfaces. When applied to fabrics via spray, a brush should be used
to work the solution into the fabric.
